If YOU Make a Mistake

If your puppy pees or poops in the house, YOU made a little mistake. Don’t be upset at your puppy and don’t be upset at yourself. Your puppy is blameless and you must resolve to do a better job watching your puppy. Take your puppy outside in case she still needs to potty. Put her in her den. Thoroughly clean the area where your pup peed or pooped with an active enzyme cleaner specifically formulated to remove all traces of urine or feces. If you do not clean up properly, you have the equivalent of a big neon sign saying: “POTTY HERE!” Ask the manager of your local pet product supply store what is the most effective product for cleaning urine and feces. Have that product readily available in case you need to use it.
